Welcome to the countdown to Autumn!

Can you believe that March is virtually a week away!

So this week we're highlighting some of our gorgeous plants that'll bring a splash of colour as we head into Autumn with some stunning shades of red!

Firstly, our Crassula Capitella Bonfire, a very ornamental succulent and magnificent presence in any succulent bowl or rockery. With fleshy foliage that starts off green with a hint of red that intensifies in full sun and cooler weather. More than just a pretty face, it's dainty flowers being a main attraction for bees too!

Our other two offerings this week are both broadleaf Cordylines. Thriving in well-draining soil, positioned in part-full shade these two tropical-style beauties look amazing in a feature pot both indoors or outside or planted out in beds, borders or underplanted. The Rubra's glossy leaves are streaked with pink at first but darken to a deep red as they mature and in ideal conditions the plant can reach around 4 metres tall. The Negra has new bright green leaves that transition through dark green and red before turning almost completely black. The approximate maximum height, in the perfect habitat for the Negra, is between 1-2 meters so multiple planting of these two stunning Cordylines together would make a very effective multi-layer/stepped display.

For further information on these or any other plants on our list please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Have a great last week of Summer :)
