Flowers and Ferns!

Hey Green thumbs!

Yet another week has flown by and along with it, the Winter Solstice, making each day last just that little bit longer!

So, more daytime to get more planting done!

This week we're "fernishing" your planting palate with two fabulous shady characters, Holly and Brazil ferns! Both with fantastically formed, frondy foliage to fill and flourish in any sheltered, shady, underplanting situation.

Back out in the open, sunniest spot, is a space just meant for Coleonema Compactum, the dwarf Diosma is very pretty in pink full flower right now and looks stunning as low hedging, perfect in feature pots and beautiful in beds. A great little waterwise evergreen, happy in moist, well draining soil and growing to around 80cm tall.
