Welcome to the weekend again Perthlings!
This week's email update comes to you all the way from quenched Queensland as WPF welcomes a new member of the WPF family into the world! I promise not to digress about babies...but have to say everything is beautifully green and lush over here right now, a stark contrast to our poor, parched Perth!
This week's planty pics include the much revered, and until recently, considered rare; Monstera Laniata, a lush, green climbing cousin to the Adansonii but with larger leaves. Laniata needs indirect sunlight wherever positioned indoors to avoid burning the leaves.
Next up we have two wonderfully water wise succulents that give a great contrast in the garden; Euphorbia Indian Tree Spurge Orange aka Fire Sticks - a stunning show piece in this 250mm size and the soft, silver grey, Kalanchoe Tomentosa in 130mms.
Finally, a favourite of mine is the delicately frilly, silver foliage of Dichondra Silver Falls, a stunning creeper, cascading from hanging baskets or over walls, roaming over rockeries or just used as an attractive ground cover.
Have a great week!
All the best. Jo Joanne Hughes Wanneroo Plant Farm Ph: 08 9405 2615
