Batten down the hatches!

Hi Perthlings,

We're all hoping you guys out there are safely tucked inside, away from the incoming storm! Stay safe friends.

If you have to venture out for plants this week, our two picks this week are the stunning Aeonium Kiwi, a delightful variegated little succulent whose rosette-style foliage colours right up in full sun and can get a stunning pink-red outline at this time of the year. A gorgeous addition to any display, succulent bowl or garden bed.

Another lover of the colder months is Limonium Sinuatum. It's curly foliage gives it a very different presence in the garden to the Perezii and the deep purple-blue colour of the long-lasting flowers, popular with florists, is preserved when dried. These hardy plants tolerate frost and full sun when established and do well on the coast, but need excellent drainage. Water sparingly all year and prevent water-logged soil through Winter rains.

All for this week, take care.
